LVFPD is currently accepting applications for the positions of EMT and firefighter.

We are willing to train anyone with the right attitude, plus we are eager to find people with any of the following credentials:

• CPR/First Aid
• Emergency First Responder
• EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) Basic
• EMT-IV
• EMT- Paramedic
• Registered Nurse
• Any other advanced medical certification
• FF1 (Firefighter 1) and FF2
• State or national fire officer accreditations
• S130/190 Basic Wildland Firefighting

All prospective members are subject to a criminal background check, driving record check and a probationary period.

We encourage men and women who are 18 years of age and older to apply. Members should live either in the district or in close proximity to allow for timely response to emergency calls.
